This project was a major renovation of both the interior and exterior. The homeowners loved the older neighborhood and the surrounding trees, but they did not like the look of the house. The homeowners wanted to renovate the house from its original psuedo-English Tudor look into a French cottage. A large terrace was added to create a welcoming and appealing entry, as well as a beautiful place to sit and overlook the property. The existing home had a small service kitchen, typical of the period, which was relocated in order to add a large family and breakfast room. These new rooms capture the views of the property, including the pool and backyard.
