Louise holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Master’s in Urban Design from University of Melbourne, Australia. She is a member of U.S. Green Building Council with LEED AP credentials in Building Design + Construction (BD+C) and Neighborhood Development (ND). Prior to joining Shapiro & Company Architects in 2018, she worked in Australia, South Korea, and across the US as an architectural designer, urban designer, and master planner. Through her travels she has gained valuable insight into international design and construction practices. Her experience includes international master planning of new towns, communities and domestic urban design projects ranging from campus planning, mixed-use development and design guidelines. She has successfully led project teams on the application of LEED ND sustainable principles, and is an experienced design professional who places high value on finding solutions that exceed the expectations of clients. In addition to creating innovative and high-quality sustainable design, she understands how architecture relates to urban spaces.
