Born in Biloxi, Mississippi at Keesler Air Force Base, Dennis grew up in a military family allowing him the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in, and explore, remarkable places such as Portugal, Germany, and Turkey. As a child moving from one place to another, Dennis never configured a clear-cut plan of what he wanted to do when he grew up. However, as he grew, he always found himself taken back to the exquisite architecture he visited across the globe. Dennis knew his love for precision, drawing, and design, coupled with his exposure to some of the world’s most breathtaking architecture, would take him somewhere extraordinary.
Dennis has been with Shapiro and Company since 1999 and works closely with the CEO on the overall management of the company. His military roots assist him in upholding the firm’s reputation for dependability, diligence, integrity, efficiency, and professionalism. Dennis’s exceptionally hard work and determination to his career, clients, and staff members is evident through his admirable actions and words. Although dedicated to his work in architecture, Dennis is also dedicated to his three children and lovely wife. He strives to stand firm in doing everything he does with excellence to be the best husband, father, and architect he can be.
Dennis is an active participant in numerous national and regional building-related conferences and seminars throughout the year and is a proud member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the West Tennessee Home Builders Association. He is also NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) certified.
