Initial Meeting
Every project begins with a complimentary one-hour meeting, conducted at our office, your home, or virtually. During this session, we discuss what is most important to you, as well as your project’s scope, priorities, and vision. Following the meeting, we provide a tailored agreement outlining services designed to achieve your desired outcome.
Discovery
Upon agreement, we conduct a comprehensive discovery process to understand your needs, preferences, and patterns of life. We assess aesthetic and functional goals alongside site characteristics, such as views, in order to maximize your project and site’s full potential.
Concept Design
Building on insights from the Discovery phase, we use our expertise to craft a concept design tailored to your goals. We explore multiple options and scenarios, presenting timeless solutions that best align with your vision and objectives.
Builder Reviews & Budgeting
Using concept drawings, we collaborate with trusted, pre-vetted builders to obtain high-level budget estimates. We carefully select builders based on their qualifications and compatibility with you and your project. Throughout this process, we advocate for your interests, lead budget discussions, and establish a collaborative team comprising the client, architect, and builder.
Design Refinement
With an approved concept and budget, we begin to refine the design and advance illustrative drawings, defining the vision in detail. Renderings and images are produced at this stage so you can best visualize and understand where the design is headed.
Construction Drawings
In this phase, we develop detailed construction documents—the ‘recipe to build’—providing contractors with precise instructions. Once finalized, they are issued to the builder for final pricing before construction begins. Working with you and the builder, we negotiate a contract that represents your best interests, bringing you optimized value.
Construction
This is where your dreams become reality! As your advocate, we guide you through this process, facilitating any questions you or the builder may have. We simplify technical details to keep you informed and confident at every stage. Collaborating closely with the contractor, we ensure the construction aligns with the design documents, delivering a successful and satisfying outcome.
