Memphis, TN
This beautifully renovated home overlooking the Mississippi River previously didn’t take advantage of its views but has now been transformed to flood the interior with light and scenery. The isolated rooms have been opened up to allow for more natural light, creating an open and airy atmosphere. The dark and dated entry with a standard builder door has been replaced with a stunning two-story glass and steel wall, serving as a captivating entryway. Inside the foyer, new floating stairs give unobstructed views and enhanced spaciousness. Walls on the main floor have been removed to create a seamless flow between living areas. The kitchen has been completely remodeled, featuring an updated layout with a river view and a peninsula-to-island conversion. The once-open space above the kitchen has been repurposed into a private lounging area off the primary suite that captures the dramatic downtown skyline views. The careful attention to detail, removal of barriers, and incorporation of natural light have created a harmonious blend of modern elegance and natural beauty, increasing the home’s livability and access to river views.
