Carla Allen

Carla received her BBA in Accounting from the University of Memphis and started working with Shapiro & Company at the onset of the firm’s formation.  As an experienced accountant, Carla is responsible for monitoring the financial performance of the company.  She has a natural appetite toward improving business and accounting practices as well as increasing usability and productivity via the innovative use of technology.  Carla also works closely with the CEO to monitor legal requirements and compliance, and to collaborate on human resource strategies by determining accountabilities, communicating, and enforcing values, policies, and procedures.  In her spare time, she loves to travel and explore, crossing new places off her bucket list!
