Tyler Hacker

Architectural Designer

Tyler is a University of Memphis Architectural graduate who spent several summers with Shapiro & Company as an intern but has now joined us full time as an Architectural Designer. Tyler joined this field as a way to harmonize his love of art and math. Tyler’s capacity to design innovative and interactive spaces stem from being technologically savvy and a lifetime of visualizing and manipulation through hand sketching. Tyler’s greatest strengths are his willingness to learn and his adaptability. At Shapiro & Company, he has his hand in all facets of design, including assisting in construction administration. With a team-driven mindset, he strives to ease the load by jumping in at all levels to assure that each project meets the design goals and deadlines of the client. Tyler is also an active member of The Commercial Interior Design Association and recently received the Jurors Choice Award in the 2018 Design Communication Exhibition at Cornell University.
