Vesta Home 2009

Germantown

VOTED BEST IN SHOW

The character of this home, in the heart of Germantown, is immediately recognized upon entering the Covered Entry, which features stuccoed walls and a stone floor, to reveal the combination Dining Room/Library. Many other aspects of this home are expressive of rich English traditions, including the Study, with its paneled walls and the floor to ceiling windows in the bay. The built-in bookcases conceal a hidden door leading to a Secret Room. While the Dining Room/Library and the Study are warm and cozy, the taller, beamed ceilings in the Family Room are filled with natural light making this an open and expansive space for family gatherings.

The outdoor living space, which features an over-sized Covered Porch and one of three fireplaces found in the home, provides a space where families would eagerly gather to entertain. Outdoor cooking is also a breeze with the conveniently located outdoor kitchen and grill in the rear Covered Porch.

The Master Suite overlooks the rear garden, and the thoughtful placement of the Master Bath and dressing area allow it to be used without disturbing the Master Bedroom’s occupant. This home includes a first floor Guest Suite with plenty of privacy and an office alcove convenient to the kitchen. Second floor bedrooms, each with private baths and walk-in-closets, are separated by a large common Children’s Lounge.
