Dennis received his Bachelor of Science with Major Emphasis on Engineering Technology from the University of Memphis in 1986. Having lived abroad in Portugal, Turkey, and Germany he brings a wealth of experience and an eye for perfection to Shapiro & Company. Dennis has been with the firm since 1999, and as a Principal with over 30 years of experience, Dennis works closely with the CEO on the overall management of the company.  He is responsible for developing and monitoring a high standard of production for all designs and contracts. Dennis helps to uphold the firm’s reputation for dependability, diligence, integrity, efficiency, and professionalism. His familiarity with the entire architectural and construction process and thirty years of residential experience gives him the capability to lead and direct everyone on a project’s team. He has extensive experience in project management, working meticulously with clientele and user groups, to develop resourceful, effective solutions for various building codes & compliances. Dennis is also an active participant in numerous national and regional building-related conferences and seminars throughout the year and is a proud member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the West Tennessee Home Builders Association.
